On the right-hand side of the screen, they have a physician directory that lists several doctors around the world, mostly in the U.S.. You can also visit the American Society of Opthalmic & Plastic Reconstructive Surgery site at www.asoprs.org. You can click on "Find a Surgeon" on the left-hand side of the screen and search by country. They actually have several docs listed in Australia, although you would want to speak to them ahead of time to ensure they were familiar with Thyroid Eye Disease. I will ask around and see if I can find any additional resources for you.

Dr Paul Langer with Twin Cities Orthopedics. He's a runner too.

I have used Langer with good results. Dr. Coetzee (spelling) is also very good Orthopaedic with an emphasis on foot and anke issues.

I had TMJ surgery in 1995... My surgeon is now retired, but I see Dr Shiffman at the U of M... I had some challenges last year, he recommends Dr. Swift for any TMJ surgery. If I needed any surgery, that's who I would see!

Try Blue Pearl clinic in Eden Prairie. It is a practice with various specialties. I would go there before ever going to the U.

Blue Pearl is wehre I am taking Willow. I go to the one in EP. I wouldn't be surprised if the second one says the same thing. That is the only tissue surrounding the tumor itself. My Willow will have to lose her right eye because the tumor rests right on her lower eye lip.

My girl had a tumor on her elbow and I went to my local vet at Rockford Rd Animal Hospital in Plymouth. They explained how they removed it but but the "margin" issue meant that it could return. I opted out of cancer treatments because she is 10 yrs old. No problems since surgery. I think the issue is if you are willing to take the chance they can remove it yet possibly leave some surrounding tissue. I am no expert, just what I experienced and how I believe I understand of the situation. Hope Cleo does alright.

I'm from mn. My Dr is Dr. Elise at coon rapids, mn allina woman's health.

Unfortunately my other dr who performed my other 3 and seen for 14 years left and I have been seeing Dr. Elise for a year and a half and will be scheduling surgery with him. Really like him compared to other dr I've seen. Plus I know others that really like him also.
