Please please don't buy food from petsmart!!' Look for a higher quality food. Pet Valu has a groomer and there is a selection of better quality food

The best vet that i have found is Dr. Edwards Veterinary clinic at 46 Port street East 905-278-5000 .He is one of the few i would let take care of my dogs.They also have the best pet food on the market.It may-be a little more expensive but what is your pets health and life worth .I would never buy pet food from a big box store.

This is a small, independent grooming service on Arbor Rd (one street south of the South Service Road, off Cawthra). The owner is a sweetheart. My dog LOVES to go there. I do like to support small, local businesses, and she is very reasonable. She also does in-home boarding. (She also has a do-it-yourself washing station.) Vaccines aren't just for cats that interact with other cats, they're to protect your cat from diseases. You're being incredibly irresponsible with your pet and everyone in your household by not vaccinating it. You literally track in millions of bacteria from outside most of which have the potential to make your cat sick, not to mention the fact that if your cat ever escapes - which is very possible - it doesn't have a rabies vaccine so you're endangering yourself as well. Any groomer who would agree to groom your unvaccinated cat isn't someone you should trust your pet to. Call the humane society and ask about help with the cost if that's your main issue

Ideally if you bring your cat to the vet, they can trim it's nails. Like you getting shots when you were young to help prevent from picking up a disease/illness, cats need the same. Depending on where in Mississauga you live in, I'd recommend Desmond Animal Hospital on Unity Gate and Winston Churchill (just south of the 403). They take superb care of my kitty.

Buy some cat nail scissors and do it yourself! Cat nails are super easy to cut because they are clear and you can easily see the quick and know how far to cut.

It's hard to cut your cat's nails by yourself. For my cat, my fiancee holds her and I trim her nails. Other than some meowing, she doesn't put up a fuss, but some cats can get vicious or just squirmy. Try having a friend help out. Most places will charge around $20 to have it done. My cat is an indoor and solo cat and has her shots. You should still get them done. Groomers won't take cats in without a rabies shot.

Both of my little guys have been going to Salon Pucci for years. I highly recommend Lisa and her team! My oldest dog has really bad anxiety about being bathed and brushed and he loves it there.
