Let me know if this works out so I can recommend it. By the looks of it they have boots, blankets, etc. It looks like they deliver but to be safe I'd pick it up.

I bought two big purchases at koutris, and they were awesome. Pricier, but about 40 euro a pair and and got extras thrown in for free each time. I've nearly wiped him out if larger men's sizes, so call first with what you want to order, or go by and explain what you are doing, what the shoes are for, and get a set bulk price with Koutris(he's SO awesome) 2251043203 Aaaaand I know they're pricier, but he significantly discounted each pair, and these are good quality athletic shoes, so they're not so thin and will actually last the winter.

have you joined the Lesvos - shopping locally FB group? All the info is in there and there's a link to it in the files on this page. The Chinese store opposite Lidl is cheap but only takes cash. There are lots of other reasonably prices shops in Mitillini too. Chinese shop doesn't sell sleeping bags from what I can remember.

I think your friend messaged me--I told her to tell you to get in touch with O Allos Anthropos...whose Greek FB page I can never figure out how to link to. But the link is in the info doc (www.bit.ly/lesvoldoc). They cook around the island, and you could either expand their service on the days they cook, or expand to cook on the days they're *not* cooking. Also tagging Pam Crosbie, who cooks with them a lot. Hi Jorgen I spoke to Ellie at Better Days for Moria today (Thursday) and she said there still was a need, and in particular for men's sizes 40, 41, 42 (but let's not forget those who take a bigger size). Ellie put out an appeal a few days ago when shoe supplies were very low and the response was very positive. Even so BDFM has only three or four days supply assuming current levels of uptake. It's a moving target but right now please don't take shoes off the essential list.
