Hitchin Post for a good small-town atmosphere and down home country food. That is, if you want to stay local. I'm not sure how a chain restaurant is supposed to encompass the "real oregon"

Taproom at Bear Creak has an excellent selection of microbrews. The restaurant has good food and delivers it to the tap room for all our customers. Definitely stop in and check it out. You can also find us on Facebook.

The White Horse is my new favorite.

Jaspers and have breakfast for dinner (they have a full menu, I just love their breakfast) or El Charitto for Mexican. smile emoticon

If you don't mind going 4 mi outside town, The Farmstead at Arrowhead Golf Club is amazing

How about bowling? It's a great family building activity. Molalla Bowl on Grange St they have a great menu too

Safari Sams in Tigard. My kids loved it!! They have lots of rooms so you can do his party in there!! Not to expensive. But I found it worth it . Or Get air in Salem!

Shady Dell Trains!!! Best place for a party in Molalla. Only open Sundays though from 12-5. I believe they have a covered area. And the train rides are free (donations)

I agree Lynda. We ate at Happy Family a few months ago and it was just kind of blah. Used to go to Lam's all the time but it's kind of grimy and they've messed up our order a few times. Never had a bad experience at Luis

I had Happy Family on Halloween and thought the fried rice was better than usual. We had an amazing dinner!:)

Markum Inn has amazing food!

If she's a bit picky, take her someplace like La Familia or Highcliff in oc, or Oswego Grill in Wilsonville. If she likes sushi, Sinju at Bridgeport is amazing. I haven't been to Creekside.
