Dr. Thomas at Matthews children's clinic,two of my kids take meds to live,they go above and beyond for my kids,even personally call rather than nurses doin it for them.the whole place has dr.s that I wud trust my kids. With.

Dr Strange takes care of all 4 of mine! When Owen has any problems with his shunt we've called her at home n she has came to the hospital even though that's not her specialty she makes sure it's taken care of.

Dr. Strange is the best! She's taken care of my boys since day 1 with the oldest, almost 17 years ago.

Dr. Kennard. Indian trail pediatrics. Love her. She remembers Carter and all the things he likes. She's always ready to talk to him about the latest yo gabba gabba episode or all about paw patrol. She remembers things he tells hers. She's just awesome. You're not just a patient there.

I agree. We love all the docs at Matthews Children's Clinic. There isn't one I wouldn't let my kids see. Great with new moms, always can get a same day appt, and the nurses are soooo sweet! Just a great place to take your precious cargo!

I suggest you interview your candidates. I thought this was a silly thing to Do and picked one based more on location and was not happy. We ended up switching based on recommendations. We see Dr. Rachael Weise at Charlotte peds. Consider locations, hrs they are open, and male vs female based on your child. Also,which hospital you want your practice to feed into cms vs presby. Keep in mind presby only has a single floor at their main location. I'm happy to help in any way.

Dr Thomas at Matthews Children's Clinic. Awesome, very devoted Christian man. He listens to your concerns and openly talks about God. He was recommended to me by Doris Browning Keller .

We LOVE Providence Peds in Balleyntine. They are just wonderful there and is right across the street from Mellow Mushroom, takes us about 20 mins to get there.

Adding one more to the many good ones already recommended, we love Dr. Butler at Union Pediatrics. It's at the medical plaza across from Hilltop.

I have four boys and we love Dr. Kennard too! She always takes her time with the boys, remembers their sports favorites and they usually prefer male doctors so the fact that they like her is a huge compliment.

Sarah, I used Matthews Children's clinic for 15 years. The doctors were great....love many that were already mentioned above.. The caution you need to have with a large group, is having to see the "doc on call" for sick visits. Hopefully, they don't do it that way any longer, but they totally missed Emily's diagnosis of CF, because she would see different docs when she was sick (she had multiple symptoms of cf in her records, the dots were just never connected). I left there shortly before she turned 4 (mainly to go some place closer because I didn't like the traffic going to Matthews), and she was diagnosed fairly quickly after seeing the same doc in a few visits at our new office. Hope this makes sense. Not meant to scare you or deter you from some good docs, I just always share this for people to think about the possible risks with big practices.

Dr Doshi at Waxhaw Peds is wonderful, thorough and excels at building rapport not only with parents but with the actual patient/child as well.

Dr Doshi at Waxhaw Pediatrics is the best. 2 years ago, when we moved to NC and didn't have insurance, she was the only pediatrician who would see my daughter, and on the same day. Dr Doshi is very kid friendly and the same goes for the rest of the staff.

Providence Pediatrics in Ballantyne. Been with the group for over 20 years. They do have a couple of NPs that have been there for years and I love them but you can choose to see a doctor instead.

All the docs at Kids First Pediatrics are great Toula. No PA - always see the doc. There are 3 females and 1 make doctor.

I have been going to Dr. Trivette for 18 years. It's one dr. you see everytime.
