I've also heard wonderful things about Dr.Max....though after an initial consultation we went with a different doctor...ONLY because I felt Dr. Max wasn't aggressive enough. Very nice doc and staff, fun office.

Love Dr Max. He puts on a beach party each year at the YMCA for everyone, has a point system for the kids to earn gift cards. We paid a little more for the "sure smile" which look more subtle than the railroad tracks and work faster. The assistants are awesome, and Dr Max is a people person. We highly reccommend.

Went with Dr. Max for all 3 kids for braces. Wonderful staff. Great results. Highly recommend.

He puts so much thought into making his office more fun and interesting for the kids and organizes great incentives, education, and events for his patient. That office is great!

Dr. Max! There is no better ortho out there! Whitney's teeth are gorgeous now because of him!! He also takes payments with no interest!

Dr. Max is awesome! I go there for my braces treatment. He is very thorough and makes sure to fix any problems with your braces, and makes braces specifically for you that will help your teeth align.

Dr. Max is probably good, but such a perfectionist that my friends braces were left on too long, and ended up messing up her teeth.

Dr. Max is also the most expensive orthodontist in the area. My oldest went there and got great results, BUT 2 years later he said she needed braces again because her teeth weren't quite lined up in the front - for an additional 3000.00 out of my pocket. We went with Dr. Lund and are super happy with him and his team.

Dr. Max(well) on Main Street is really good, but they are closed on Fridays and so popular that it can be hard to get convenient appointments.

Dr jones... Jones Family orthodontics.. by movie theater..wonderful staff took great care of my son.. did a couple of different things for my daughter when she has been home, and she was not a patient.

I called Dr. Jones office and spoke with Cokie and explained my situation and she actually was very helpful! She suggested that I take my son to our dentist first for an eval and then "if needed" come on in and see them! I told her she could have just said come and see what we can do...and she explained how they really try to help the patients before they even come into their office. Kudos to them! Son has a dentist appt. tomorrow:) Thank you all so much for your help!

My daughter just had 6 teeth pulled at Puget Sound Pediatric Dentistry for the same reasons. Maybe you could try them first since they are technically a dentist office.

We just saw Dr Steen in Bothell for a similar situation with a funky wisdom tooth. He seemed mindful of expenses for families and was able to explain clearly why he was recommending not pulling it in this case. PM me if you want more info.

I second Dr. Steen's office, my 10 year old is having 4 teeth pulled by his associate this coming week also for her orthodontist. They were very upfront about the cost and took extra time to make sure my daughter understood the procedure and felt at ease about coming back for it.
