I'm in the dental hygiene program at Lake Washington Institute of Technology in Kirkland; if you're willing to make the drive, we are still looking for patients and while a comprehensive exam, X-rays, and cleaning take much longer than they would at a private practice, the costs are so much cheaper and you're getting the most thorough cleaning ever! I have had only one dentist in my life that I felt comfortable with. Highly recommend Chan Han at Bella Smiles. He's caring, patient, good with phobic patients, and the gals who clean teeth do so carefully, kindly, and well. Can't say enough good things about him. Don't know what Michael found wrong with them, unless it was another dentist there. Chan Han is the only one I know, and he's done excellent care in repairing what another dentist destroyed in my mouth.
