Berolina's bakery in Glendale it is on Ocean View off the 210 freway they make a very good one. I use to get mine from Gelsons . It is not far and very good they have wonderful breads also. No portos does not make them another closer one that does but i have not tried is http://www.yelp.com/biz/copenhagen-pastry-pasadena here you have to give them a day or two to make but their other pasteries have a lot of almond paste in them so i am sure it is good

Joan Ochoa Sullivan, mainly because I need to have it for early on a Monday morning, meaning I have to pick it up on Sunday and Federicos is not open on Sunday and the cakes they have on Saturdays are baked on Fridays.. so it would be 4 days old on a Monday... but WOW! Thanks for all the suggestions. I love this marzipan-y raspberry creamy confection.....I will check everything out!
