I agree! I left because the nurse was very cold. She was giving my 2 month old shots like he was a prisoner. I also didn’t care for the office staff. We moved to Norman Pediatric associates. It’s (obviously) in Norman, but not too far from us. We have only seen them once, but we have liked them so far.

Check with Serve Moore, The Chamber of Commerce and 211. You'll be pretty happy. When is the wedding, you said your fiancee. And Dustin, no, free for all, however Moore is a wealthy city, people make more on jobs in Moore than anyplace in the State. What's wrong with free/pay. Is that not what those who can afford it love to do. It may be a bit prideful, but if you can afford, then Moore expects you to pay. It's simple wealthy more is wealthy. They are used ot running the city and buying the best in service etc. Those who are less fortunate, have a right to live in Moore, even if they can't afford to pay. The issues I've discovered is Moore isn't use to having welfare, foodstamps and people in need in their city. Let me be a living witness and say, it's not good to look down on people, whether they can pay or not. I say FREE FOR ALL, that is what my Ministry provides where I can. Now how about a donation of food for My Cancer Survivors Dance-A-Thon that is scheduled in the MOORE area this month.
Joan T. replied:
No one asked you to Dustin. Read my post again. In the event I did not make it clear. Free for those who cannot afford it. We all pay taxes, let the government provide for everyone who would LIKE free day care. I say wealthy individuals are spoken of in scripture. It will be difficult for the rich to get into heaven because many are selfish and some are stingy. Of course that doesn't apply to you Dustin, you LOOK like a goodhearted person. We all know looks are deceiving. However to debate this issue is not what this post was originally posted for. Surely Rose State has taught many something, since the majority of the students are of color, right? Let's ask Sgt. Dickinson an Adjunct about how he feels on this point. Sgt. is one of the most giving individuals I know. He has a heart for giving, that is probably why he was elected or chosen to be Chairman of Community Services on the Police Department. See I don't do politics much because of the very position you hold on this point. I work hard at Ministry and give my all. I don't have a problem with it, because all I have comes from God as we now. I've been in both situations. Making $100,000+ annually and now doing Outreach Ministry with the bare minimum. I choose Outreach over wealth any day. I see from personal experience that wealthy people have this attitude that they are better than others; some not all. Even I have been in need and if you knew how some people in Norman, Moore and OKC have treated me you would shake your head. I say, no problem because when God raises this Ministry up to where He promised I'll be certain to donate to Rose States Community Outreach program. Have a nice day. I'm done and done and done and enjoying my Sabbath. Stay blessed.

You're in luck! Moore is a great place for families, and there really isn't a bad part of town. Integris South has multiple physicians, on 119 th and Penn. This is such a family friendly community that you will find just about anything in regards to sign ups for youth sports to adult dance classes on your insert with your water bill. Dr Lance Ledbetter is a great eye doctor. I've lived in SE Moore for 25+ years now. I have adult kids now raising their families here.
Joan T. replied:
Andrea Smith Vasquez for those who live in the Broadway/19th and 27th St. area that's a distance and some have no transportation. EVERY city has a few bad neighborhoods. What makes a good neighborhood? When you know your neighbors, can lookout for your neighbors, invite them to your home and trust them with your kids. I believe Daycare across the board should be free to those who cannot afford it. Those who can; it would be great to offer scholarships so that parents who cannot afford it be able to receive the great care your children receive as opposed to getting rotten service. And please parents check these facilities out. Go in at anytime of day and see JUST HOW clean these places are. Ya'll may be surprise to find that one person is trying to change the diapers of 7 babies who are screaming and some not getting their diapers changed. I'm just saying. If you have a problem with this post, go check some out. Don't announce your coming, just go. If all is well, cool, if not keep it moving. Have a nice day. It's my Sabbath off, I'm enjoying some football and non-alchi Sangria. How are YOU all?
Kalen's teacher recommended to have him checked for ADD/ADHD. Our pediatrician doesn't feel comfortable in diagnosing it. We're needing to find a doctor for him to see....

We use Premiere Pediatrics. While I love Dr. Ellis, I don’t love all of their front desk staff. Some of them are not friendly, disorganized, and unprofessional. Just last week, we waited for an hour and a half before seeing him. I’m an extremely patient, non confrontational person so I’m not just over exaggerating. Just in the past year, I have seen at least 3 parents storm out of there.

Patrick D. replied:
Norman Pediatrics is great and I think they'll be a great fit for what your looking for, besides the great doctors, nurse line, and after hours clinic. They have a RN/lactation consultant on staff. She does newborn care and has the same credentials as the lactation consultant's in the hospital.
RoseAnn D. replied:
Dr. Donna Johnson at Crystal Park Pediatrics - she is very pro-breastfeeding,listens to her patients and is very caring. http://www.crystalparkpediatrics.com/
Stacey S. replied:
Caring pediatrics, Dr Victor Wilson. He is so nice and everyone in his office is very helpful and nice. We switched to him right before my 2 nd daughter was born and he’s been the primary doctor for all 3 of my kids since. I breastfed my 2 youngest and he was very helpful in areas I had questions and concerns. He personally came in and checked them out in the hospital right after birth too. We used Dr Fields in Norman an although he himself was nice, I didn’t have good experiences with his staff and his nurse gave my daughter a breathing treatment meant for another child because she was distracted.

Christy T. replied:
Ahhhh! We LOVE Dr. Thompson at Saints! He's awesome & totally realizes the child belongs to the PARENTS, not him. He's not pushy about vaccines at all. We simply told him we aren't, and he doesn't ask. He's very conservative, never prescribes antibiotics unless it's really necessary. Just A+ & well worth a trip over there because you can eat at http://www.kaisersbistro.com/kaisersbistro/Home.html when you're done!
Christy T. replied:
Yes. For both of us. It'll help you recover faster too. I'm wondering if he's lip/tongue tied. Every single baby I've known has been since I delivered a year ago. I don't know why it's happening to all these babies. I honestly wonder if it's the radiation we got from Fukashima when the Japan earthquake happened. I'd be happy to come look at him tomorrow if you need me to, or you can call Nikki Rott Imes. She does Kindred Spirit CranioSacral Therapy and it's amazing. Or Margarett Beck at Baptist hospital can tell you too. She's in the NICU, but she is a IBCLC and knows a TON about it. He needs to have more wet diapers, so I'd be syringe feeding expressed milk if not. Is he fussy? Don't expect ANY ped to know what a tongue or lip tie is though.
Nichelle S. replied:
I think Jenifer Jones uses him and says she likes him too
Summer H. replied:

Crystal W. replied:
We use Dr Garrison at Mercy in Edmond. Him and his PA are awesome! They don't hassle you about vaccines and have always tried more natural approaches before antibiotics. It's sort of a drive but I love them. Also, yes get adjusted. Both of you, immediately. My son was the day he was born. There is so much pressure put on their tiny little spines during childbirth.
Melissa N. replied:
Dr. Steven King in Edmond is who we used. He was fine with my vaxing views.
Definitely Dr. Betty Harmon. I can't say enough good things about her.
Krista R. replied:
