Doctors in Morton, IL

My doctor through Proctor isn't in Morton but he is AMAZING. His name is George Gilbert and he is in the Proctor Professional Building in Peoria. The best bedside manner I have encountered in my 32 years:)

I have heard that Hake is retiring. I have a friend who sees Dr Stetter at proctor. I would've suggested Dr Doering, but above it said he not taking new patients. You can always call and see. 3092669124

After my family doctor retired I decided to get established with Dr. Doering since he's so close to home (my other family doc was in Bartonville). I've seen him 2 or 3 times and I'm personally not at all a fan and I'm looking again for a new family doctor. You may love him but I myself will not be going back to him. I won't go into details because I don't want to trash talk but you asked for opinions/feedback. My mother who also attempted to get established with him felt the same. Anyway! Leah Dobbins I have heard great things about. She actually did her residency where I work so I'm familiar with her on a business/professional level and not a patient level but she's very nice so I'm considering transferring my care to her.

I liked Dr. Koch when I used to see him. I now see Dr. Link and his PA and both are very kind and qualified. They are with OSF.

I see Dr Ford in the Koch Family Medicine building. She is awesome and makes you feel like you are literally the only patient on her schedule.

Dr. Beratio from Morton medical group is very good. Feel like she takes time to listen.

Dr. Stetter is who my mother sees and he is very good also my mom has early Alzheimer and dementia and he has alot of patience with her and never rushes her out...another good choice

Dr. Johnson Midwest orthopedics just had him work on mine last week he did an excellent job and didn't have to use a cane or crutches or anything afterwards!

Dr. Mitzelfelt....from Midwest Orthopedic....He did a double knee replacement on me in August. Excellent all around experience.

We were with Chad Conklin too. Followed him from Morton over to his Peoria office years ago. I found out today that there are family practice doctors at Unity Point Clinic by Walmart (where MedPointe used to be). We are probably going to choose one of these doctors.

Don't chose Dr Deoring. (Med Pointe Morton). Very Arrogant!

We use Dr. Laura Donlan at Just Kidz Dentistry. It is in Peoria, but it is an all pediatric practice. They make the dentist fun for the kids. My daughter can't wait to go every time!

David Cross and Molly Lundy at Morton Paediatrics on Maxine... We live out past Grand Prairie in Peoria and come to Morton for Dave and Molly. (All 3 kids went to Dave, but my oldest daughter wanted a female when she started puberty.) Laurie Donlan at Kids First Dental in Peoria.

We love Dr. May Sun at Unity Point. The nurse practitioner at the office, Dana Stephens, is excellent too.

We absolutely love Growing Smiles in Peoria Heights!! My son begs to go. The staff is wonderful and they have tons of fun things for the kids to do while they wait to be seen (Xbox, color, play, movie).

My kiddos see Dr Lundy. She's wonderful. For a dentist, our whole family sees Dr Pete Smidt at Morton Dental Center.

Dr. Kolettis was fantastic. I couldn't do LASIK...horrible astigmatism. He talked me through my options & I went with PRK. Horribly painful but so worth it!

My husband had both his eyes done with Bond Associates 12 years ago. In the last 4.5 years he's had cataracts and a detached retina repair. (I go to Illinois Eye Center.)

Gene had both of his done with Dr. Weinstein at Illinois Eye Center and is very happy with the results.

Dr. Kolettis, at Illinois Eye Center, did mine 4 years ago. I haven't had a single problem and my eyesight is still 20/20! It's amazing:)

Dr Koch office asked me a bunch of questions that are already in epic computer system, then they have to review and decode if Dr Ford (?) I think can take me add a new pt but she doesn't right for some of my scripts and the point of finding a central primary Dr is to have them be the gatekeeper basically.

Dr Matt Rossi the best ever. Hopedale Hospital. They are building a new office in Tremont. Husband and wife team coming in that used to be at OSF. Highly recommended as well.

Sharon Hendryx Heren, we currently have Health Alliance but our current plan with them is being discontinued. Just a heads up - I recommend you call them & ask about the Drs. in their network based on your plan. We looked online & thought we were fine. Dr. Matthew Stetter moved from the Proctor First Care building to the Mehtodist Med Point near Walmart in Morton & that move now has him no longer in network for us. Even though Unity Point owns BOTH facilities & basically they are one company. So call them & ask based on your ins. plan just to be safe.

Dr. Mulvey does hips and knees at Midwest ortho. He did both of hip replacements... outstanding Dr. with and amazing bedside manner.

I am going to Dr Blair Rhode. His office in Peoria is right across from the Walgreens at the corner of Knoxville and McClure. He has done both of my carpal tunnels and my left cubital tunnel. He was referred to me by my best friend who sent his own mother there to have her knee. Just saw her this last weekend and she has no side effects as of 2 years post op.

I do like the hand guy at Great Plains. He has done several hand procedures for me. Love him. Dr Garst.

Dr Mulvey is super but takes a long time to get appointment

Gibbons, Mulvey, Merkely all do knees, it just depends on if you need PT vs scope vs a total joint replacement. All competent and great Ortho MD's

Dr Akeson did my knee. I thought he was great!
