Dr. Pete Davis in Mt Juliet. He only does kids' eye exams and is AWESOME. His brother, Dr Mike, is great for adults too. Jimmy called in on an emergency when he injured his eye last year and Dr mike saw him within an hour on a friday, gave his cell number in case we needed anything over the weekend while he was out of town. Depending on what your needs are. Dr Shivitz is an ophthalmologist. Like Dr. young and Dr Gates at Summit eye care is. Then there's optometrist who do general eye exams and still Checking the health of the eyes. Dr Altman at Aprima eye care is great!

I used Cornea Consultants by Baptist Hospital. The OPTHALMOLOGIST/Owner of the practice did my surgery in 1998. I had severe astigmatism. My left eye was a minus 1300 and my right eye was a minus 1000. I saw 20/20 immediately after the surgery! I was 42 when I had the surgery and have not had any problems.

Make sure your eyes have finished "changing". I also used Dr. Ezell in 2006 at 29 years old & had a bad astigmatism - only lasted about 2 years and they are worse now than they were before. I loved it while it lasted and hope to get it done again sometime.

I used Dr Shofner in 2008 and mine was about $2500 if I remember correctly. I did not have an astigmatism though but I would highly recommend him!

http://www.summiteye.com Dr. Ezell. I had astigmatism and high prescription but the procedure went perfectly. I had it done in '07 and have no problems. My vision is better than 20/20. I highly recommend it. I paid cash and got a great discount.:-)
