Does anyone have any old Pics of Sally Jon Bakery on Sherman.
Margaret H. replied:
Sally Jobs was great. Between them & Cole's Bakery at downtown bus terminal, the smell of sugar was overpowering. Good thing we walked a lot & played outdoors or I would have been a blimp!!!
Peg E. replied:
Colonial Bakery came to North Muskegon also. I remember that us four kids would stand behind Mom and beg for treats! He had a big, heavy tray, that extended out towards you, so you could see all the yummies:)
Gregory B. replied:
No, but I remember going there in high school. The building is still there on Sherman Blvd. They had THE best custard filled long johns!
Teresa G. replied:
Every Sunday night...Sally Jon Bakery donuts and The Wonderful World of Disney and the Ed Sullivan Show. One of the sweetest (pun intended) memories of my childhood:)

Sally Jon had the best cinnamon bread. Used to buy it a lot when we lived on Mona Street.
