The Deck in Muskegon is directly on the beach. They have reggae music and bands play outside. Great drinks and food. Perfect atmosphere.... IHOP on Harvey St in Muskegon

Rye Belle's and The Buck both have rooftop patios, The Boulevard has a good view on to of the bluff, Silver Beach Pizza has a great view below the bluff. All these options are in St. Joe

Heather Krukowski, maybe you are thinking of a different Lakehouse. Lakehouse by Cravings is on Lake Michigan. Red Arrow Highway runs in front of it and there's the lake. I think it has a charming atmosphere! And their chef is awesome! Just saying!

We're not directly on the lake, but this is the view from anywhere in the dining room at Grande Mere Inn. We also have vegetarian options.

I know Silver Beach Pizza isn't on the beach, but it does have a great view of the sunset and the fountain! AND you can visit the Carousel if you have to wait in line - they will buzz you ! Silver beach pizza is the only restaurant even remotely close to a nice beach with services and great grooming. Silver Beach is the best if you want a beach-like tourist (popular location) atmosphere but not necessarily fine dining or romantic. I don't speak for Muskegon though.

My family went to Los Lagos in twin lake and is identical to El Camino. The beans and cheese were vintage. Too far away? Skee Town is similar and good. I live closer to twin lake so Los Lagos is my taco and Mexican food place. Love it. ❤️

Depends on how you like your pizza! Spanky's pizza (and breadstix) in Fremont is good think crust, Mr. Scribs is good thing crust but sort of soggy/floppy, Hab's, bernios is good for something different
