Dr. Steven Meixel. Holmestown Road. 843 652-8440. One of the kindest physicians I have ever been to. He listens TO YOU and let's you participate in your health care. However, if you are merely looking for a physician to subscribe medication for pain, etc...he is not your doctor. Don't waste his time. He wants to get you healthy and keep you healthy, not dole out meds for pain.

Welcome to the new face of healthcare. In healthcare for over 30 years. It is now a for profit business not a healing practice. Controlled by executives that are not healthcare providers and Big Pharma. There are good docs out but it takes some searching. Good luck. Look into Functional Medicine too.
