They just expanded so its even better. They also have a bomb breakfast menu!! Pulled pork on pancakes where the pancakes taste like donuts. Edit: Just realized you need to go to The Kebap and get an Ottoman Beef and Lamb. Say hi to Mustafa me!! Just the sandwich though, not the combo haha

Huong Lan is a cheap but good Vietnamese place to grab pho. Gina's is a good source for heavier Mexican. You can always pop north for some shopping or movies.

Firehouse has really good sushi as well as some western food as well. Nori is good sushi on the north end. Hearthstone and Mon Petit Choux are good, popular bakeries. Check out Wolf Brewing as well for some beer. There are tons of beaches and hikes around that are free if you want to be outside - Nanaimo River, Westwood Lake, Newcastle Island, Ammonite Falls, Neck Point, Colliery Dam, Mt Benson

Try Mrs. Ritchies. Extensive menu and everything is good on it. For cheap things to do, try these: * disc golf at Bowen Park (free and the park provides free discs to play) * Piper's Lagoon * Neck Point * Maffeo Sutton Park On your way out to Long Beach, check out the Coombs market area and Cathedral Grove.

I also have 3 that are with a small nursery pot. Bottom bucket has one hole to put water in, top bucket has several holes for drainage, as well as one big hole in the center to hold a nursery pot, which also has holes in it. It soaks up the water as it needs it.
Is there an actual French bakery here in Nanaimo? Real butter croissants, real French bread, baked daily? I'm losing faith!

Island Natural health food store (across from Home Depot) carries fresh baked bread from Gabriola Island once a week, delivered to them on Wednesdays at noon. It's really good bread!:)
