Hi Kristin, the rec society (as mentioned ^) has programs for kids, and the Hope Center also offers daycare/programs through the summer msg Kathleen Lasby for more details, or give them a call. We also have a great Sparks, Brownies & (new this coming sept) Guides programs, if you're girls are interested you can contact me. We do a lot of fun things! But that starts in Sept. Cheers

Super Valu #115 opened Nov 12 1966 it was the training store for the island too. cam Mayes was the first manager and we trained many people who went on to become managers for other grocery stores over the years at Thrifty Foods, Red and White, IGA, Food Country to name a few.
