Dogvacay.com was an awesome experience for us when we went on a vacation a couple of weeks ago. You can bring your dog to a sitter or sometimes they will stay at your home depending on the sitter. We had a really good first time experience and really recommend this site !

MidDay Play in Sandwich, it's a little far, does boarding in her home. Your pet stays with her in her home, she has a fenced area, a large yard and has swimming. It really is a great place and they get 24 hour care.

Doggie Depot in Downers Grove is wonderful! Holly always comes home exhausted after going there. They also take pictures and videos of the dogs having such a great time. The facility is large and very clean. I would recommend this place to anyone. Here is Holly after a long day at the Depot!

I use Dogs Love Running! Wheaton to take care of my fur babies at lunch once a week. They are awesome! The owner, Heidi, came to my house and met me personally to set up a schedule. I have a regular walker each week, so the dogs know her. If any changes need to be made, Heidi calls to let me know a sub will be taking care of my pups. They offer pet sitting/house sitting as well. Definitely recommend them.

If your dog is dog-friendly, I highly recommend The Crate Escape located on North Aurora Ave just west of Rt.59. Your dog has to pass a temperament test to make sure he gets along well with other dogs. The dogs there are only crated at night. Otherwise they get to interact and play the whole day!
