It's a bit of a drive but after dealing with vets for exotic animals I can tell you that you won't find a better exotic animal doc than doctor Nir you can look him up . The-vet.net they are AMAZING and reasonable. They close now but if you call & explain I'm sure they will wait for you!!!!

How is he??? There is an emergency vet on 64 in Elmwood Park that sees birds. Wish I would have seen this earlier! Also, there is a vet on Army Trail and 59 (Dr. Anda) that will see birds - maybe Monday for a follow up - otherwise, try the new Emergency Vet (Premier Vet) on Randall near Rt. 20.... I'm very happy with Naperville Animal Hospital, Dr. Magnusen. I've heard mixed reviews, but Magnusen has been outstanding as far as I'm concerned. There are numerous other vets there though.
