Have you tried the website care.com? I've seen the commercials and it looks like a very reliable and dependable source. They find the best nanny that fits your needs and they are pre-screened and go through background checks.

We use care.com. We've found some good ones on there and some we weren't so crazy about. Their "background" check isn't really a background check but you can request a real one. Sometimes you have to interview like 10 people before finding the right person. It's also MUCH cheaper to pay the yearly fee and then you have access all year. You can email them and they will likely send you a coupon for like 30% off the yearly fee or like 20% off the first month.

But I will say that I still recommend using care.com. You just have to do the research on your own and thoroughly interview people!
