I'm picking up 2 suits at Hermitage Cleaners on West End tomorrow, can report back on price/performance if it would help. They've done some sweaters and shirts for me previously with good results.

i used to go to the place at the murphy road roundabout next door to star bagel; the lady seems angry but they always did a decent job on my stuff. now i'm on the east side more often and i've used nicholson's with some success but i've read horror stories about them and they also seemed a little angry so I'm in the market for another place on the east side if anyone knows of one.

Piggybacking to ask for the best cheap dry cleaners in town - I just can't pay $15 to clean a dress anymore.

I really like Top Hat Cleaners on Harding Pike (by St. Thomas Hospital.) its cheapest, and they do everything. For example, my dog shat all over one of my rugs and they cleaned it for like $20.

Elm Hill Cleaners will tell you if they can't do it. And if they can't then it probably shouldn't be done. (Not that yours shouldn't just for future reference)
