Hello are there any gyms ( low key) available by Dizingof? I am visiting for 3 weeks and would appreciate any suggestions.

I am going to Sportiv on Kikar- has all kind of classes including TRX and cycling. Troya is cheaper - its in Carmel Hotel. Holmes place is overpriced, there is a good one in Mihlala in K.Hasharon, but its expensive, as well as Country Club in Poleg. Personally didnt like the one on Raziel street
Hello, does anyone know of a fitness center with an indoor basketball court, and if not where do people play regularly?
Merle S. replied:
The Ramat Poleg Country Club.

Elitzur Sports Center (tel. 09/865-2931) Mind you my son has not been there in years, so don't even know if it still exists, you can only try. Also Wingate have basketball courts in and out. Also same thing have to be a member.
Recommended gyms and personal trainers? I live near the ramada

We are vacationing on Nitza street for 3 weeks. Please recommend supermarkets, good kosher restaurants and a gym close by. Thank you.

There is a decent sized supermarket on Harav Kuk street, called Mega. The Coop on Nitza is small and pricey. The only gym close by that i know accepts pay visits is on Hertzl street and it's called 'Sportive'. The alternative to Sportive is going to a nearby hotel and asking if they do pay visits. There is a restaurant on Nitza, kosher mehadrin (dairy) called Mul Hayam. My parents really like it. There are lots of other options on Nitza and close by on kikar haatzmaut.

Mul Hayan has not been good lately. It is also not on Nitza! There are a few dairy places next to the Co op on Nitza ( which IS very expensive) Do you have a car. Makes a big difference in recommendations.
