Hi Lynn Landis Thank you for offering to help Miss Darlene and her pup Rowdy.. Rowdy has demodex mange that is generalized.. He has a secondary skin infection due to the severe itching he has done from the demodex mange.. He had a previous possible abscess under his chin that the vet will be looking at as well. Rowdy is going to have a long road ahead of him getting better.. As Kippy Warren stated, Rowdy is going to be in need of MINIMUM of 5 treatments of a dip every 2 weeks for him to get over this mange.. I've offered to do the dips at home after Rowdy has had a few done at the vets office.. These first few are going to be quite painful for him due to the open sores he has.. The vets office is better equipped at handling that then we are right now.. But it's still ALOT of money for an elderly person to come up with every 2 weeks when they are on a VERY limited budget (I know we all are). That vet bill, $72+ every 2 weeks CAN/IS often the difference between getting food and/or medicine, paying a bill.. etc. for an elderly person.. The vets office said if ANYONE.. (anyone reading this that can help... PLZ do!!!).. anyone that would like to help Rowdy and Miss Darlene pay for his treatments that they could call the vets office directly and tell them they would like to help Miss Darlene and Rowdy and the vets office would put the "credit" on Miss Darlene's account.. The amount of "dips" Rowdy is going to need is still alittle up in the air.. like I said.. MINIMUM of 5, as it is all going to depend on how Rowdy's body does.. So if anyone could PLZ help out with the treatments for Rowdy and Miss Darlene.. you can call South Central Vet in Navasota.. (936-870-4033) and tell them you would like to help Miss Darlene Mims and her dog Rowdy with his mange treatments so that they put it on her account with them.. There are still some other things that Miss Darlene is in need of, that I will leave up to Kippy Warren to say.. Miss Darlene LOVES her dog, and Rowdy is a sweet, sweet boy.. If you can help, anyone, please do.. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your time in reading this, and if you can help them.. My heart goes out to you!

Kippy Warren and Miss Darlene are WONDERFUL people.. I met them both today while helping Miss Darlene with her dog.. Rowdy is at the vet getting all taken care of.. Miss Darlene and I will be going to the vet tomorrow to pick him up. I too have to say thank you to all the people that offered to help Miss Darlene, and yes it does help you have faith in humanity again seeing those offers... I'm glad I can help them and will help them any chance that I can.. THAT is what life is about.. THAT is what we are suppose to do as humans and for me, as a christian, help out our neighbors... Thank you Kippy for all that you do for her.. You are the angel!

Rae Wilson sometimes its not the amount of money you have or have to give, it's the time that means the most to people.. Time to give someone a helping hand, time to help them cut the grass, time to help them wash a car etc.. It's that time that seems to be what alot of people in this world need, someones time.. and that makes the world of difference in another persons life
