Oh bummer.... Did you check the Greater Newburyport Q&A page? Chris Wren, along with Jill, put together a really comprehensive list of suggested people for various services. We're directing all service recommendations to that page, to keep the consolidated list updated.

CSAs: I don't have all the contact info on hand, but you can google these easily: Middle Earth Farm and Heron Pond Farm, both in Amesbury, have CSAs and stands at the Newburyport Farmers Mkt. Also check out Cider Hill Farm (Amesbury) for great orchards and vegetables, and a really cool place called The Herb Farmacy in Salisbury for potted herbs, tomato plants, etc. The Farm at Eastman's Corner (corner of Rt 150 and 107 in Kensington, just "up the road" from Cider Hill) is dedicated to selling local produce and prepared foods, wine, etc. and has fresh raw milk for sale. These places also sell eggs and some sell honey too. Hope that's a good start!
Julie S. replied:
Send me your email and I'll send along an article I wrote about the CSAs in the area. It covers growing practices, pick up style, etc. For example Heron Pond adheres to organic growing practices while Cider Hill uses integrated pest management where restricted use pesticides are used. Middle Earth Farm in Amesbury is WONDERFUL and only dropped their organic certification due to the beaucracy of it all.
Nannci W. replied:
Ditto what Julie said…Richard at Middle Earth is a gifted grower whose veggies are the best!

Raw milk: Artichoke Dairy in W Newbury (Colby Farm Stand in Newbury also carries Artichoke milk) or Pelton Farm Stand in Hampton Falls (on rt 1)
Nannci W. replied:
Artichoke Dairy also supplies fresh milk for Wolf Meadow Farm, the Italian cheese maker in Amesbury.
Julie S. replied:
Better yet, here's a link to the CSA article. www.wholelifemom.com/2014/02/23/its-almost-that-time-of-year-local-csa-options/. If you're concerned about GMOs just a word of caution regarding local dairies. I haven't found one that doesn't supplement their feed with GMO feed. Hopefully they'll start moving in that direction.
We need a plumber! So far we've found that they are booking 3-4 weeks out. Any recommendations? Please?

Is someone missing a orange cat near plummer ave? He is crying at our door but can't bring him in with our dog.
Tamra T. replied:
Hoping Mr Kitty found a warm spot for the night. Cats are very resilient. I grew up in Vermont and we had a cat we gave to another family and the darn cat ran away and walked for 3 days to get back to us. He was outside in the elements all night! I don't think anyone was judging on here but encouraging someone to take him for the night. Obviously not everyone is in a position to do that. Chances are he'll be back looking for food this morning if he's not back home.
