Thanks all, I've made an appointment with Dr. Jeffries. I've already seen Shockley once Dr. Long only will see if you need surgery, Dr. Hopkins was w-a-y too expensive, and Dr Carr is out of the question. Fingers crossed...

Is Fayetteville too far? Up the street from Piedmont Fayette Hospital. I go to our high school class mate, Dr. Howell Tucker. He has been great for me and my parents and mother in law when they were still living. Met us at the office on a Sunday when my mom had a problem.

Gary and I have diabetes...I went to the Wal-mart doctor (Voss or something) and he discovered that I had diabetic retinopathy, a potentially blinding condition. I had been to Thomas Eye Group, who failed to discover it. Dr. V saved my sight!
