We use Dr Tega! Primecare Pediatrics! We absolutely love him and his staff. All this about him not taking time is not true at ALL in my opinion! He has always taken time with is and knows both of my kids by name. He plays with them and discusses every issue with me. I have a 3 month old with severe reflux and he has been super about it!! I've had a ton of insecurities with my youngest eating because of her reflux but he and his staff have helped me every step of the way!

Dr. Tega is wonderful!! He is very sweet to my girls and really listens to my concerns! He hasn't always given us meds right away either. He will sometimes say use a humidifier or if it's a virus here some things you can do to help with symptoms while you wait it out. They have same day sick appt's every time and the whole staff is very sweet!!

Ok, I couldn't write a better post earlier because I was at dr tega's office with my girls. He is by far the best we've been to! Went today because my oldest had an earache and while there I asked about a cough my youngest was having. I asked if I needed to make an appointment and they took care of us right then. Just had a scare with my youngest a couple weeks ago (that I totally blame Newnan hospital for) and he called me over the holiday weekend to check on her, gave me his personal number to call if I needed, and when the office opened he immediately hugged us both and saved the day! he is so amazing! Not quick to throw meds at you, listens to you, and genuinely loves his patients! We love everyone in that office!!!

Dr Tega, he is wonderful with my son. He listens &Nd takes time to understand what is going on and isnt quick to just prescribe something thats not needed. Same day sick apts &Nd return nurses calls promptly. He is usually the one who returns them ive never waited 30 minutes for a call back

I don't think Dr. Jackson is taking new patients, but we LOVE Dr.Roberts and his nurses. He is very thorough and answers all of my questions (I usually have a lot!). His nurses are great and always make me feel better if I call with questions.

I didn't like Dr. Whipple. My son was sick for three weeks with a cold. He missed 9 days of school due to coughing. The school kept sending him home. I took him multiple times and Dr. Whipple would just say it's a cold. I finally switched to Dr. Kemi. She diagnosed his asthma before she examined him. She said the cold had turned into bronchitis because of the asthma. I said, "What asthma? I thought he outgrew asthma as a kid." She said no. She said she could hear his labored breathing before she even examined him. My son missed the entire last month of school in fourth grade due to the constant misdiagnosis of Dr. Whipple. He's always training someone and he only spends a few minutes with eCh patient.

If she's on Medicaid take her to Kiaser. Dr. Becknell is amazing. I always get same day appointments & Gavin loves him!

We used to see Dr. Cole. He gave my young son the wrong dosage on a prescription. He was so high I had to pick him up from school. I had to lead him to the car because his eyes were completely dilated. The lesson is 1) know what prescription and dosage your child is receiving; 2) confirm the doctor wrote the prescription correctly; 3) confirm the pharmacy filled the prescription correctly; 4) ask lots of questions about why they are getting the meds, how it is supposed to work, how long it will take to work, what are the side effects, etc. We used Dr. Cole for about five years. He was getting forgetful and this goof up lead me to Dr. Whipple. Dr. Whipple also misdiagnosed my sister-in-law's nephew (other side of the family). I can't remember what was going on but it was tense for a while.

It's totally up to you of course, but I DO NOT recommend dr. Whipple. At all. He didn't circumcise Konner CORRECTLY so he still has "redundant foreskin" that he will have to be put to sleep to remove this time. which means I have to take off 2 days of work, which means 16 hours off my paycheck. anyways, hahahah Dr. Jackson is fantastic! He goes above & beyond for his patients, and he will explain to you everything you need to know. Even the little questions that I felt like most people knew, but I didn't, he totally understood that it was my first go-round of being a mom, and one of my favorite things about him, is he takes his time. I have never felt rushed at all while using him. & he knows us by name, and when I told him all 4 of my little cousins used him( I told him the Camp family) & he was able to name Jackson, Jefferson, Harrison, and Hamilton off by name. he's an awesome doctor & I don't think Konner will ever go anywhere else, while were in newnan at least

Dr Roberts is at that office. That's the office that I've had trouble with personally, and know two people with similar sentiments. It's not the doctors--I love Dr. Cheek and every doctor I've seen there. But it's the staff I've had major issues with. I dread having to go there or deal with them. Even calling is a nightmare for me. But I know a couple people who have never noticed an issue. So who knows. I've just felt like they hate their jobs and are never happy people. Which doesn't seem fitting for people who deal with sick children every day. They've made me feel like I'm an inconvenience to them--even in their own mistakes (scheduling, specifically).

Dr. ROBERTS won't spread out vaccines. You have to go by his schedule or he won't be your Doctor . Other than that he was a good Dr.

We use Dr Carter at Piedmont pediatrics on Jefferson pkway. He is wonderful and worked with my request to spread out my daughter's shots. Love their physician assistants too. We have friends that see Dr Rice and Dr Kimmie in the same office and they love them too!

Dr. Plotkin at Healthpoint Pediatrics in Tyrone is open to spreading out immunizations, he does for me, and it's very easy to get a same day sick appointment with him and I've never had issues scheduling my regualr appointments. He also has long hours on Wednesdays.

We have been using Dr. Jackson at Thomas crossroads for eight years. Absolutely adore him and all the nurses. He always listens to the parents and discusses pros and cons with everything.

Dr. Dickerson is very accepting of any variation to vaccines or not vaccinating at all if you choose that route. She doesn't pressure you either way.

Dr Justice is amazing. We've seen her since my almost 5 yo was born. I love her and the office! We delay shots without an issue.

Natalie, I did complain, but we had also just moved down here and I didn't want to switch pediatrician again. It's a bit sad, because we really liked Dr. Cheeks! But my friend who recommended her had the same problems with making appointments, ever since Piedmont took over the place. It seems to be bad management and that too many patients are taken on.

Dr. Cheeks is the best. We've been seeing her for years. Yes she just got back from maternity leave. I have never had a problem getting an appointment. I would actually be a little leery of a doctor that can give next day of the week if well check appointments, to me that would say they don't have very many patients and they would have to be a reason for that. I always schedule my well baby appointments when we are leaving from the previous one and have never had a problem getting them when needed. Most doctors, you can't just call the week of needed a well appointment.

LOVE Dr. Dickerson!! I've taken my kids to her for years!! Normally when you call, you get in that day or the next!! Very loving and caring and down to earth. You're not just another patient to her!! She also specialized in Pediatric Gynecology in Atlanta for 10 yrs before coming here....which is a plus, considering I have all girls! You'll LOVE her!!

I know about Dr. Cheeks maternity leave and we liked her, however she has no appointment available until the middle of November and even with the nurse practitioner I have to wait till October. And when my 3 months old was sick and not eating I had to wait 3 days for an appointment for a sick visit with the nurse. That's just not good!

Dr. Malcolm Cole. He spreads them out so they don't get more than 2 shots At a time

Dr. Justice at Just Us Kids is great. Her NP is also awesome. Same day appointments in most cases, and I don't think she minds spreading out vaccinations. We had to catch our youngest up because we missed one, and they had no issue with it.

I love Dr. Brittany Cheeks at Thomascross Roads Newnan Peds.

Megan Frangoudakis Bruce geee! I have had a few concerns with my daughter & he will just say yeah thats normal everythings fine. but wont really look into it. We dont go back til march so i may start looking for someone else!!! thanks!

Dr. Regina Justice is really good! Katie & Hunter went to her when she was in Fayetteville. We stopped them there b/c it was too far to drive... Now she has an office in Newnan! Her kids go to TCS with our kiddos!

Dr Carter is the best ! He would even see me and Linzi Brooke Copeland until we were like 20 years old ! If I could still go to him now I would!

Dr Jamison Roberts in Thomas crossroads clinic he is amazing. He is always booked up but he is a wonderful doc an is super great with Dawson .... I give him 5 stars:)

Dr. Jasmina Rice both my boys have been to her I love her!!

We used Dr. Jamie Roberts. He was great with Houston.

Dr. Whipple is amazing! I love him and referred him to a number of people who are very satisfied as well! He's one to sit down and actually take time with you whatever the issue:)

my mom took me and my brother to Dr. Jasmina Rice all of our life and she was always wonderful. She's so sweet too!

We LOVE Dr Jill Dickerson at Vibrant Kids Pediatrics in Summer Grove. She is the best! She tends to go the more natural way and tries not to prescribe a prescription unless its something that needs it. She listens and doesn't treat me like an idiot like alot of drs bc im such a young mom.... I love her! And her nurses are great too!

I did have Dr. Whipple... and he was in and out so fast at the begining... So I changed Doctors but he was very well with my daughter at the hospital..

I've heard great things about Dr.Carter as well, but wasn't accepting new patients when I needed... we have Dr. Whipple and love him.

Dr. Jill Dickerson is awesome!!! And all her staff. I agree with Laell Tucker:)

Cecileigh's Neonatologists interviewed a handful of Dr.s and Dr. Whipple was the one they picked. Maybe its bcs Cecileighs issues are more serious than the average child, but before we ever saw him he knew everything there was to know about her and all of her issues. He takes out an hour for every one of our visits just to talk things over, ask questions,etc...

Dr. Jameson (Jamie) Roberts is wonderful; & Dr. Jasmine Rice is great too .
