Dr. Rick Berta at family friend is great if you looking to stay close to home. I drive my animals down to valley vet in pine mountain (about 45 minutes). I originally started going there because of their large animal (horse) vet but their companion ani mal vet is outstanding. Plus what it costs to drive down there you make up for in healthcare costs. They are so affordable. The best vets in the area. Dr. Rachel Burlton and Dr. Mike Schwitalla.

Hi! My husband and I are new to the area, and we are looking for a vet for our Lab. Can anyone recommend a good clinic? I was thinking about checking out Briarcliff...
Glen A. replied:
I highly recommend Tri-Counties Animal Clinic on Hwy 138 (near Taylor Rd in Riverdale).(770) 471-6046
Michael M. replied:
Briarcliff. Unequivocally. They are compassionate and Dr. Cleland is a resident of E.P.
Nancy C. replied:
Briarcliff is ran by a neighbor! Daniel Cleland of Egan Park!:D he's great with the furbabies!!
Deb A. replied:
For 24/7 care we also use Union City Animal Hospital. 6702 Shannon Pkwy, Union City, GA, (770) 964-0700
Laurie E. replied:
Dr. Shannon at coweta animal hospital. He is truly the best. He is very compassionate about his job. I wld never go anywhere else
Mary A. replied:
I too recommend Union City Veterinarian Animal Clinic and Hospital, not just because it's owned and operated by one of my best friends but because they provide excellent service.
I am looking for a good vet that's not hard to get into as our dog is due for shots. I haven't read good reviews for the Senoia vet hospital... :-/ anyone go there that...

Ditto the above posts about East Coweta Vet! Love them!
Barbara B. replied:
Animal Medical Clinic in PTC. Used to use Senoia Vet, but changed. Our daughter recommended AMC, she used them for several years before moving out of state, she had her own business of pet sitting.
Charlene M. replied:
We used Banfield and were on their dog healthcare plan for 5 years. They tried to push many uneeded shots and the plans price rose $20 more per month tgan wheb we first started. We had to pay to get out of the plan and now go to Senoia Animal hospital, wich is less expensive than Banfield off the health care plan, but mire on the healthcare plan, but cosidering what we were paying yearly for a 5 yr old dog for shots, we way over paid. Banfield's plan is great for puppies and pregnant dogs.
Kelly C. replied:
If it's just for shots, you can take him to West Mobile Vet. He is in Newnan on Thursdays from 7-4:00 and no appt needed. He parks at Animal Control on Selt Rd (off of Hospital Rd). He doesn't have the overheard so isn't as expensive. I've taken my puppy there for all of his vaccinations and to be micro-chipped. 770-942-4984 91 Selt Rd. Newnan 30263 westmobilevet.com
Shelley H. replied:
We have used Senoia Vet since we moved here in Feb and I don't have a single complaint yet. Our dog has boarded there twice, had some stitches removed from a previous vet and had shots. No complaints here!
Lauren N. replied:
Crossroads vets are great. Dr Wilson is my favorite. (He's the one that always kisses the animals.) Dr. Watson is also great. They try to help you save money. (They stopped boarding them a few yrs ago - the only downfall.)
Kelly K. replied:
East Coweta Vet. One of my pups just had a big surgery done on Monday. They have called everyday since to check on her. She is doing beautifully. Dr. Ray is amazing with my dogs...and I don't even live that close to them. I pass many other vets to get to them.
Dave W. replied:
Braelinn vet off of crosstown drive in PC. They are very reasonable and close to Senoia. The vets and techs there are great.

H.E.L.P. Spay and neuter clinic on The Boulevard in Newnan.
Adrianne T. replied:
Tractor Supply is the host for Petvet. Great vet techs & veterinarians. They are in Newnan every Friday and will be at the Fayetteville TSC January 3 rd. $18 3 years rabies, $15 microchip, heart worm testing and meds, flea and tick control as well. But they do offer all other vaccines that are needed.
Nona N. replied:
The help clinic by Jekyll and Hyde's. My friend is a vet tech and sees tons of infections and complications from mobile vets. The Help clinic has good pricing, all info is on their website, and I've been there personally. As well as my friend who has taken her pets/strays/fosters there as well when she's in the area. I'd check them out before you decided on a mobile vet. Plus, shorter wait time as well
Jenny R. replied:
I use East Coweta Veterinary Hospital in Sharpsburg. They're great!
Hey everyone - do you know of a vet who will come to your house to put your pet down?
Linda F. replied:
You can try Animal Medical Clinic. Dr. Vince came to our home many years ago. I am not sure he/they do that any more. We were on a cruise and our pet sitter had called for our collie. I think he was to heavy for her to lift. We knew this may happen but still very sad when we returned.
Hi all! My husband and I moved to Newnan from Northern Michigan in mid May. We have two senior kitties and I'm looking for recommendations for a good veterinarian....
