I am sorry to hear of your loss, Bob. I hope you and your family are healing well. Call my brother Larry at Naylor Paint in Venice (310-393-7224) and he will know of a painter for you. You might ask for Doug MacGregor (Samohi '73) - very reliable. I think there are some Samohi '72 grads that are real estate agents that can help you there. My best wishes in tying up what I know are many loose ends. Take care.

Hi Bob, So sorry about your mom. You lose her, then have to do what you are doing now. Those of us who have gone through it deeply know what you're going through and I'm sure we all send you our best wishes...When my dad died, we, first of all, inte rviewed a few realtors to handle the sale of our Santa Monica family home, then we went with Melissa Alt. She has tons of experience in the area and was honest with us. She also helped with the painters, landscapers and staging. I can't recommend her highly enough. Best of luck to you. http://telesproperties.com/agents/melissa-alt/

That's what we believe, too. We're pretty frustrated that the "handyman" our property manager brought in could not fix it. All Carl had to do was go to Home Depot, tell the helper in plumbing the brand, and they showed us the equipment needed to fix it when we had problems. After we get this taken care of we will be having a loooonng talk with our property manager.
