I hear ya... Sometimes I missed work the day after Mary Dr. Donner's number is 436-5428. There is a male Dr Block, but I prefer Dr Donner. They are located on the street behind Sonic at Volvo & Battlefield. They have several therapists. My absolute favorite was Kim V. but she just quit to go to school full time There is another Kim but personally I don't care for her style. Sorry I don't have anyone to recommend.. You will have to try a couple and pick who you like . They are open half day on Saturday.

Joe Deck on lower Brownsboro by Sonia Lee's. Over the years he's treated our dogs, cats, a ferret, and an iguana. A good guy and he also does multi-pet discounts. Highly recommended.

For shots and small issues, you can't go wrong with Dr. John's Clinic. The clinic is at various Feeder's Supply locations around town (just check their website for locations/hours) and it's probably the easiest and cheapest way to get your shots taken care of. That's where I've always taken my pets and I know plenty of other people who do the same. I've never heard anything bad about it. For more serious issues, I also recommend Shively.

Johnson Animal Clinic in Hikes Point is where I've been taking my dog for years. Really like that place. Also, for downtown, there is [Blue Cross Animal Hospital](http://www.bluecrossanimalhospital.org/) that I have heard nothing but good things about.

Cat Clinic of Louisville. EXCELLENT care, very near downtown, and you never have to worry about your kitty getting scared of dogs and whatnot who might also be in the waiting room.

Iroqouis Animal Clinic. Former employee. Dr. King is super awesome, super nice, and has a ton of jokes. The place is well-kept and the staff is friendly and helpful. And if the bill is too steep, it's not usually a problem! He works out payment plans and all that jazz if you need it. He's also an attorney in case you ever need one.
