Many years ago we had 2 sofas made exactly to our needs and way cheaper than high street stores. They are Sit-a Bit and are now at Meadow Way, Dog Lane, Horsford, Norwich. Phone 01603 890555. Definitely phone first as I can't be certain they still operate.

Try Sophie Ames 's Norfolk Lighting Company in Taverham. Not just a lighting company, they do bespoke upholstery and furniture too.

Futon company on st Giles do a small selection of sofas too. Also The Granary on Bedford street which is owned by Jarrolds, expensive but stylish.

Depends what you are after and price range. But loaf do nice ones. We got ours off ebay. German company. It's beautiful.

Kerris Farnhouse Pine are really good. They aren't just pine either. If you have a specific size you want they will try to help with that and don't charge a fortune either.

Leeson's Opposite homebase rowntree way. Proper proper wood. Oak furniture land say no veneer yes that true but I don't think they can cut the wood any thinner...

The shop that used to be godfreys on riverside road. Oak furniture land is mass produced expensive poo imho.

As above Cotswold Company have an outlet behind main shop where Godreys used to be off Riverside Road, really nice stuff
