Message from Maureen Hurley in Athens: Please. please make them stay on Lesvos. as tomorrow 3 full boats will be coming in after the 2 day strike, and many of the families may be on the square in Victoria. The camps will be full and so will the shelters.

Please speak to UNHCR or Red Cross. They will give them shelter and assistance, medical support and will arrange for someone to meet them in Athens. They can either stay at Eleonas or other accomodation

I was gonna say that actually Karen, if they go to Caritas Lesvos then the Lesvos team will arrange a smooth transition to Athens. But at least they could get a rest there before the rest of the journey. If you get a chance Juliet, go and visit the place. It's amazing!!
