not sure if this is exactly what you're after but have you ever heard of the ohlone herbal center? http://www.ohlonecenter.org/ they're donation based and not so much a medical doctor as an herbalist, but they're very thourough, all natural and all about healing. pretty sure their clinic is open only on mondays but u can call and leave a voicemail any time.

FB friends: can any of you recommend a rad, sliding-scale naturopath/nutritionist you trust in the bay area? My digestive system is kind of a train wreck. PM if so?...

MAP in SF is an acupuncture spot for musicians with a sliding scale. They also offer herbal medicine consultations. Chinese medicine pays a lot of attention to the gut. Also Haley - we don't know each other. I'm a local musician who is similarly trying...See More

Joshua Muscat, San Francisco Botanical Clinic...he's 25 or less a session and an incredible healer. I'm healed from my allergies
Bay Area (and folks who've lived here): Anyone know of a solid naturopath? Please holler please with all of your suggestions!
Aimee S. replied:
Hi Mia, I don't know of the naturopath side so much, but for mental health can recommend the JFK Center for Holistic Counseling, as well as Grateful Heart counseling. They likely have good references and partners who can support on the herbal/nutrition side, if they are not versed or qualified.

Dr. Jennifer Strider at simple family health isn't cheap but is incredibly knowledgable, super-gentle and pretty dang effective.

Hi locals. I'm looking for a good naturopath/alternative medicine doctor who can help me figure out what's going on with my migraines (which I know are hormone-related)....

I've had good experiences at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in SF on Portrero Hill. They offer both clinics for herbs and acupuncture, as well as personal appts. I saw them a lot when I was recovering from pneumonia, and still go back occasionally.
Ok, now I am looking for a suggested Naturopath in the area (preferably East Bay) that can help with hormonal balance and sleep issues, vegan friendly of course. Thanks...
