Hi Lake Neighbors...
Here is a poll question...please share any great referrals you have for any of the following:
1) Dentist you love and is great
2) GP Doctor you love...
1. Love Franklin dental. 2. I'm a kaiser patient. My GP is Dr. Nandi. Wonderful doctor and she listens to you. Some doctors just prescribe meds. She's the type who will figure it out and make you feel better. If you need a podiatrist, I can refer... I'm a regular podiatry patient.. hehe. 4. Dr. Lannett at Chiropractic Naturally. 5. Optometrist.. haven't had good experience with the Kaiser ones.. but I've had great experience with an ophthalmologist.

Allison B. replied:
Tisa, my doc in SF is former president of America. Naturopathic doctors assoc. they have website but you have to know zip code to find doc in Cleveland. If you can't access it that way call my doc's office for rec: dr Carl hanger-Bauer, SF natural medicine, 415-643-6600. BIG difference between a naturopath and a Naturopathic Doctor, btw, for those who may not know.

They are all legit MD's who *also* have advanced degrees in nutrition, accupuncture, massage, etc. It's where I go when I need to see a western doc. I have worked w Jeff Draisin there. http://www.cpmc.org/services/ihh/

Caroline N. replied:
Dr. Avis Logan in Oakland is the most badass doctor I've EVER had. I LOVE her so so much. She is all about everything you describe up there, and her office is courteous and communicative. She responds to emails same day, has a lab in the office, and almost always suggests homeopathic and nutritional remedies first. Even though I live in SF, I still drive to Oakland just for her. She's at SutterHealth.
