Last summer we moved into our "new" retirement home 1000 miles away! This house has bambo flooring and tiles! Since our Skippy was the broken leg puppy (now 6 years old) he could NOT navigate w/the floors. He had a plate, screws in his back leg, which unfortunately worked out so he had MORE surgery to take it out! He is doing fine now but will always favor that back leg. HE NEVER RACED, we adopted him as a puppy! So we had to buy runners for just about every room! A family member said "but you are covering up the floors" and we replied "to Skippy these floors are like an ice skating rink"! Just added my 2 cents here
