http://www.mccluresflowersbethany.com/ Good people, been friends with my family since well before I came to be. =) **edit** Just realized that sounded wrong. I meant that as "before I was born" not "they were friends with my family before I came to be friends with them, also."
Do any of yall know a good photographer, dj and florist ? Any ideas would be great and dj needs to have million dollar insurance.

If you are looking to do a "country" type theme Harn Homestead is a wonderful venue! Make sure to look at previous wedding photos that photographers have done, that is going to be one of the most important things you spend money on. Also I have a great DJ recommendation, he is expensive but worth it, (he is the ceremony coordinator, does lighting, music and photo booth for his price)

DIY bride + bridesmaid bouquets Hi everyone!
I’m hoping to make my own bouquet as well as the bridesmaids’ bouquets. Has anyone done this on their own? There are a...

Check if the wholesalers in your area sell to the general public- the one I work at doesn’t and you have to have an account associated with a business to shop there- see if any florists in your area do “DIY wedding kits” or something, usually makes it easier to make sure you have everything you need :) (if you’re planning on making boutonnières/corsages be warned, they’re very tricky to make and take a LONG time if you don’t know what you’re doing- trust me, I’ve been there)
hcelestem replied:
I haven’t done them myself, but my friend did for hers. She kept them very casual, picked wildflowers from her parent’s farm and then made them with the bridesmaids. It took a lot of time still, like 6 hours. And she had to do them the day before the wedding because unlike professional florists, she didn’t have space in a fridge to keep the flowers from wilting in between. So just be aware that it’s definitely a time consuming day before the wedding task. If you’re cool with that then rock it out! I’m traveling 2 hours for my wedding and staying overnight there so there is just no way I could have the time or storage space to do any flowers myself.
Any suggestions on a good place to get a corsage ( and don't say " a florist", I DO know that!). I feel like I get the same look every time? I want something different!
