I currently work with Dr. Matt Cohlmia....and worked for him, his brother, and father years before taking a break. when I was pregnant with my son, now 11 . Fabulous family dentist, great with kids, and "big" kids (adults) as well!! They are a lovely family!!! We refer to Dr. Wooten for oral surgery, which I highly recommend as well! We have only seen Dr Heim one time... and I like the fact that he did not rush to put braces on,,,, (why do it 2 x was his theory)... some doctors may push just because they can... I feel he is very honest...

Othodontic Associates for me. I love them. They did wonders for both my older kids and now my youngest. They have a smaller practice in Edmond and a larger one by Lake Hefner. Everyone is different in what they like... but I loved that they didn't rush my kids into braces, they are supper kid focused, great staff and work with you well if you pay out of pocket. Orthodontic Associates is my choice!

I also love our pediatrician, Dr. Kelly Stephens. Not sure he is taking new patients but he is also with Mercy Clinic in Edmond. My daughters all took dance at A.R.T.S. (Arts Revealing The Son) in Edmond. Excellent studio!

If you are in the Edmond area Dr. Peter Kierl is great for orthodontics. he has treated two of my kids and has Sure Smile technology which shortens it to 1 year.

Without question (and in my opinion) the best, prettiest, most caring and kind Dental Hygienist around is April Garner Klepper (aka Hope's mom and my wife). She works for Dr Withers at NW 122 nd & MacArthur. In all seriousness, she is as good as it gets.

Gotta agree with several others about The Pediatric Group - Dr. Moore specifically. My son was born with multiple heart defects and underwent 3 open heart surgeries by the time he was 5. Within the first 2 months of his life I realized I had chosen the wrong pediatrician and went in search of a replacement. Interviewed several, including Dr. Moore at the recommendation of one of his cardiologists. I can say that Dr. Moore was the only one who took the time to meet with us and listen to our concerns. Being a first time mom and with a child with health issues there were a lot of concerns. Never once in our meeting did he look at his watch or rush me, he just listened. We haven't seen anyone else since, and my son is 10! We have used and loved Dr. Nanda for braces. Family Pet Clinic on 164 th between May and Penn is the vet for our 3 dogs - love Dr. Cooper there. Puppy Love on Santa Fe just south of Danforth for dog grooming.

DENTIST- Dr Shapard on May. Hes great with kids. will get right to you on emergencies. The whole office is SUPER!!!!

That's right Kari! I'm checking with them to see who's in network! Lol! However, I called Dr Wooten & Dr Lamb's office, oral surgeon. Dr Wooten isn't in network but he has much better pricing than Dr Lamb who is in network. So that's a catch 20...

Dr. Crittenden is everything and more than you could ever want in a pediatrician. My daughter is 10 and has gone to him since birth. She has been healthy so she wasn't much of a challenge for him. My son, however, who is 4 1/2 now, has been a different story. He become very ill with H1N1 at 9 months and his health went downhill from there for about the next 9 months. Dr. Crittenden was there with us on MANY sleepless nights, in and out of the hospital, as we figured out the rare syndrome he had developed. He never gave up on Zach and was such an encouragement to my husband and I. My son has now officially out grown the FPIES that tried to claim his life a few times. He passed his food challenge on August 7 th, 2013. Dr. Crittenden, along with our allergist, has been with us through it all. I couldn't imagine that journey without him. He truly loves being a pediatrician.

Me and my kids go to Kickingbird Dental. Britt Reece is one of their hygentist, and I graduated form DC with her. She is great! Dr Brasher is the dentist, danforth and bryant. 359-9696

Brent Moody - pediatric dentist; Dr. Heim - ortho - love both of these wonderful doctors. Vet - Cherokee Hills on NW Expwy. It's not super close but love, love, love these people. They kennel too.

And I think someone mentioned dance? If so - Studio J. Loving, healthy philosophy.

Dr. Cross at 178 th and Portland is a good vet that we are using for all our animals and he's right here in Deer Creek.

Dr. Brent Moody - wonderful pediatric dentist. Dr. Alana Adair -awesome pediatrician. (Both located right by Mercy Hospital). Studio J - great dance studio (164 th & Western in Edmond).

Dr. Stanley Corley - NW Family Physicians (located on Memorial near Mercy Hospital) is wonderful!

Dentist- Dr. Safi on Santa Fe is wonderful. We are neighbors with Dr. Crittenden's daughter. Wonderful family. Vet- White Oak Vet clinic on Waterloo. My daughters don't take dance, but friends take lessons with Movement Innovation Studio. My husband and I both go to NW Family. Our doctors are Dr. Klabzuba and Dr. Webb. We have been with them for seven years. We use Charles Vision at Edmond Road and Santa Fe. Welcome to the District!

Dr. George Shields is a wonderful eye doctor (located N. May & NW 150 th St.)

Dr. Parrington at NW pediatrics is great - across from Mercy. Dr Naifeh for dentist 122 nd & Penn area.

I use Harvest Hills Vet for vet & grooming. It's on NW expressway and council (quick if you use turnpike). Love on a leash is good too but further into Edmond 15 th & Blvd.

Dr. Moore also has kids in DC, has 4 kids himself and is passionate about Pediatrics and the care of children helping to start KidsFirst physician group for after hour care run by pediatricians. GREAT CHRISTian man!

After a bad experience with a group dentist I asked around, changed dentists, and LOVE Don Harris. He's on 63 rd just off of Portland. His granddaughters were Deer Creekers. Orthodontics - highly recommend Peter Kerl. My son went to him. The Dr predicted half the time from other plans. It ended up even half of the half. Some of our HS staff people have even gone to him for their own use. Oral Surgeon -Robert Lamb. My neighbor (hygienist for a dentist) says he's the best in the area. All three of my boys, my husband and even one of my boys OSU chums, an out of state student, all thought he was tops. You didn't ask about a hair styliest but I'll still throw in my two cents as to who is aces - Shelley Herriott Epely

Dr. Lamb is a great oral surgeon, as well as his partner Dr. Holmgren in Edmond. Dr. McNair is our dentist - he is wonderful.

Dentist - Russel Danner (near Mercy), Ortho - Dr. Heim (also by Mercy) my dog hates the vet.. so no dog groomers for us...

Dr. Micky Crittenden a great pediatrician!

I use Dr. Crittenden currently, Dr. Moody for Dentist, but Dr. nanda for braces, Dr. Wood for ENT., I don't use a dog Groomer so I can not help on that recommendation.

Dr Crittenden is an awesome Pediatrician and he is with Mercy!! Dr. Ralph Wilcox is a great family Dentist !!

I've been an RN-NNP for years in newborn- cant say enough about the pediatric group - OKC next to Baptist. Ortho- The Orthadontic Group Dog- Best Vet Ever!!! Oral surgeon--Dr. Craig Wooten. He is by Mercy Hospital. Dog groomer--Doggy Dooz at 164 th and Penn. And my daughter takes dance at Dance Unlimited in Edmond. Hope this helps!

Mercy Family NW has a great group of family docs. I personally see Dr. Webb. Dr. Klabzuba is in that practice and a fellow Deer Creek mom. I really appreciate ease of appointment and quick phone call return. Highly recommend!

Fun atmosphere aswell! I was an assistant there over the past 8 years, resigned to be a stay at home mom. You will LOVE them!! My daughter and I are both in treatment there. Braces for her, I'm doing invisalign

Dr. Archer at Orthodontic Associates. He's the best. They all are there.

gotta go with Dr. Archer. I have him, his wife and kids for years. They are great people with an amazing office, you never wait for more than a few minutes.

Oh yes Archer is at Orthodontic Associates as well. If you choose them let me know. I ran across about 100 of their paper dollar bill "bucks" they give the kids that Caden never spent and I will pass them on to you!

We LOVE Dr. Monica Neely by Lake Hefner (dentist). She is amazing and so gentle and sweet. She refers you to her oral surgeon for that procedure. I don't know his name but I can find out if you want. Her number is 405-302-0100. Jeff has had two wisdom teeth out by Dr. Bryan at Bryan & Glass DDS by Mercy. They did a great job. He was completely sedated. 405-755-4826.

Craig & Streight are awesome, took both my girls there after they graduated from Dr. Bracket's office.

We have a great orthodontics program at OU College of Dentistry, which is on the Health Science Center campus near downtown OKC. Their treatments will also be cheaper than private practice orthodontists. There is a time commitment though, but it's worth checking in to. Ortho Associates on Hefner and the Parkway where the big red ball is. All 3 kids have gone there. Brennon has been going for 2 yrs for consultation and not one penny out of pocket. They wanted to wait til he had quit growing before they would put braces on. = Looks like March is the date. Very friendly, family oriented.

LOVE Dr Don James at 63 rd and Portland. Don't know if he is still taking new patients or not but would be worth the call.

Dr Kierl on Hefner is who Sam goes to. Really like him and his staff.

Craig & Streight are fabulous!!!! 321-1926 they office in Mustang on Mondays and Wednesdays. I was terribly unimpressed with the professionalism of Marlo Miller and her staff.

I agree with what you said about Dr. Miller. We went to her first and chose to look else where.

Be careful at OU. When I was getting my braces we went and they wanted to remove all these teeth, leave gaps, put implants in, etc, etc. I went to Dr. McCullough (spelling?) in Yukon and love him. He pulled four teeth, moved mine forward and made room for my wisdom teeth to come in so I wouldn't have to have them pulled too. Lovvvvved him.

I went through Five porthedontist for myself due to military moves and bar none - compare to this man! We are commuiting back and forth from Missouri to OKlahom to have him do Davids braces and it is well wortht he 6 hour drive (each way)!!
