We have been using Dupont Reality which just opened up another office in Lacey called Lacey Reality (the office is right next to The Ram in Hawks Prairie). We have had good experiences with them so far and they have very competitive rates. Everywhere else we talked to was more expensive.

You have to have the right tenant to have a repair agreement. I would advise to have a management company if you are going to be out of state, I think 10 percent of rent is normal out here, plus leasing fees each time a new tenant signs on. If you want to do it yourself a good place to start is www.walandlord.com. they have all the forms you need and lots of tips and information, they can also screen tenants for you for minimal cost. It's fifty a year for membership but well worth it.

We rent a home in Spanaway from Integrity Rentals- really like this company- from a renters point- as a homeowner- I use a property management team to take care of my property in another state. So less stressful and they can take care of the small repairs rather quickly (if any) just always do a BBB check on property management prospects.
