If you belong to Prairie Life Fitness, they offer free swim lessons & more importantly, you have access to a pool at other times so your little one can practice the skills that they learn each week. We highly recommend Chuck Simon at 84 th & Q. My kids absolutely love him and all of the instructors at that location.:-)

my daughter was deathly afraid of water on her face and just not comfortable in water at that age. I did kids body shop (we went at like 6:30 pm on a tues) and it was amazing! It was about $75 for the class which was 8 wks long. They did so much more then play, dunking them, teaching them out to properly in/out of the pool and much more. It totally got her over her fear and we loved it! She now stands in the shower and lets water run all over her!! http://kidsbodyshop.com/tiny-toots
