I have been part of the Fergus Homeschool group for some time. It is a Yahoo group and they promote various activities.(they had a great co-op program for some time but I am not sure if they do any more-as my kids are older) I used to go to a Friday (Catholic) co-op program in Richmond Hill but it got to be too much of a drive for me -that's when I started with the Fergus HS group. I still kept in touch with the R.Hill group as they had a Mom's night out -where we would sit and chat about what we were doing and how to help others or vice versa. (without the kids) Lena Emo used to give talks on Homeschooling at the library.

Kate L. replied:
You can always drop them off at Westminster United Church on Broadway. They hold a clothing sale once a month providing the clothes at low cost to those in need in the community.
Janice B. replied:
That is the problem I usually have, Jen. I try to take it to Salvation Army or Paws & Claws and they don't accept because they have too much. It is good that so many people recycle by giving to charity but it sucks if you are donating as you can't take it to them.
Deborah R. replied:
Take them to Paws and Claws on Broadway, they support the local OSPCA. Great store, staffed by volunteers and all money raised goes to help the animals.
