First Unitarian in Toronto is collecting money for direct sponsorship of refugees. Local mosques are also a good place to check. Islamic Relief is another organization that has been doing a lot of direct support with volunteer effort and very little staff.

another suggestion is went to local farmer's market here in Duncan, and admin there will be posting all the flyers with Duncan Business Association and hand deliver to each business in the area. That was a good hit for me. Thanks.

oh, i forgot, delivered to BC ferry in Departure Bay, Nanaimo and the lady in customer service suggested that they do not personally handle flyers for people and gave me a number 1.250.381.1401 to talk to admin at main office for putting up posters/ and or doing a missing person ad on their ferries. Can someone take over this part? am going to be out doing more flyers in Ladysmith, Chemainus and Cowichan this coming week.
