Hanford veterinary hospital hands down the best vet. They (particularly Dr. Swayze) have seen all of my dogs since I moved here from Oregon 10 years ago. They have a new facility right off the 198 and very easy to find!

The only one I would say to avoid for sure is Valley Animal Hospital. We had a very bad experience there that was very unneccesary and unprofessional.

Call All Creatures. They are only 19 for an office visit. Tell them you need to be seen ASAP and I'm sure that they will get you in tomorrow. But she/he should be seen right away. Eyes are nothing to mess with. They can get infected really easy and that will likely cause removal of the eye

Kayla, have you suggested your vet call Dr Bates and speak with her directly? If my vet would not at least don that then I would think of another vet. My vets have always ben open to second opinions.

We just have to keep trying to educate our vets by giving them the Info in the files section at the top of the Addison's Disease in Dogs page. Vets can even call Dr. Bates who pioneered the low-dose protocol.
