Tacoma Comedy Club is good if you're into stand-up. Quite a few of the headliners are on Comedy Central and/or Netflix so you can check them out before buying tickets.

Keys on main is pretty amazing. Jazzbones is awesome too. There is also another dualing piano bar across the street. Tacoma Comedy club is fun. I personally like watching the weirdos that go to my favorite bar the BLT:)
