Hey I'm getting my first car soon and I'm really excited about all the freedoms that comes with it. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive yet great place to camp?
Chris G. replied:
Jane DeJong. That's incorrect. A middle class provincial park starts at $36. http://www.parkreports.com/fees/camping/2015 If you want cheap everything, head south. A non - electrical tent site in the US is like $15 a night.
Mike C. replied:
Www.campklahanie.com less then $40 a night hydro and water check out the website for more information
Margaret C. replied:
The Bruce Trail has some free campsites.

So Camp Klahanie is good??? Are the campsites private or very open?
Hey there, I was just searching though the posts, and I haven't seen any yet, however I was just wondering if anyone has any old pictures of Camp 30, I know its not...
Was used as St. Stephen's Catholic High School at the time I was in High School at Bowmanville... Wonder if you might find images that way...
Jennifer W. replied:
I would contact the Clarington Museums in Bowmanville. I know that they have several photographs of the Camp in its many different forms. You could email Charles Taws, curator, at ctaws@claringtonmuseums.com .
