Does anyone remember the name of the grocery store at Lake Aire ?

Oh - I thought Carlson Family owned Red Owl and when then ditched the franchise they renamed it "Carlson's".

Not sure but they may have owned the north side Red Owl and then when that went out is possibly when they bought out National Foods! I'm not a north sider so I am not as familiar with the businesses on that side of town!

Murdock and Jackson where walgreens is now used to be Nolte's, Snow Cap (Juicy Lucy's came later) and something else I cant remember. On the other corner used to be Eictstads Service Station and KFC, robo wash and Mr. Donut. I dont remember what was on the South west side of the corner.

you are correct, Dan Radig. No one else ever believes me that the Dixie Cream was in that spot. We attended St. John's Lutheran Church on the corner of Main and Lincoln. Many times walked over to get some Dixie Cream donuts.
