Maybe try her on raw food . . . I raw feed my dogs and they have thrived on it. Raw food is much easier for dogs and cats to digest than processed and it will rest her digestive system. Here's a couple of links for you to have a look at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/261761471359/search/?query=cats ; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTYiWmPGmTQ (this is the way cats are supposed to eat!) Just a suggestion for you :)
Liz A. replied:
Well, kittens will need more food than an adult cat because they are growing so rapidly and she will need to be fed at least 3 times a day at the moment. Generally you can feed as much as she wants at one sitting (within reason). If you want to pm or email me, email address is: LAnderson1951@gmail.com

Karen you could try getting in contact with Dr Alan Bell in auckland (he does consults in some other areas). He specializes in dog skin disorders. Your boxer sounds just like our golden retriever. His skin is mainly under control now (he was found to be allergic to two different mites - one that lives in grass and one that lives in carpet!). Also - have you looked into a raw good diet? That goes a long way too.. But stay away from beef.

Poor you, and poor doggie, this sounds awful. Vet Lyn Thomson at Raw Essentials (see website, contact details etc) has had a great deal of success with skin problems (see testimonials) with a FULL AND BALANCED raw diet. Feeding dogs an unbalanced raw diet is not recommended. We have also been to Dr Alan Bell and it is important to get an actual diagnosis of what the dog is allergic to. People told me to stay away from various plants - but the allergy test showed my dog wasn't allergic to them at all, so stressing and straining to keep her off various grasses and creepers was a waste of time and energy. Alan also got us onto an allergy free food initially to see whether she was reacting to anything in the raw diet, and she wasn't. Turned out to be her own skin mites!

Thanks everyone. We woke this morning to Tui covered head to toe in welts, looked horrific so off to vet immediately. Have message & email into Dr Allan Bell awaiting his reply.
Just wondering what you guys use and/or recommend for flea/tick control in dogs? and also worm control. Happy to order online from VET POST as they support you guys. ...
