Classy barbershop in kc? Ay broskis! I'm looking for a great men's barbershop in KC. Before I moved from Arkansas, I used to go to a place that would cut, style, massage...

I always go to Chop Tops on 39 th. It's more rockabilly than "classy". They give you PBR while you wait. But they do the cut, style, massage, straight razor shaves, all of that.

This might border on classic hipster, but I'll put a good word in for Buffalo Mane. http://buffalo-mane.squarespace.com/

No one has mentioned Gillis Barbershop on 5 th and Walnut. Very old fashioned, always a good haircut. Don't think they're gonna do massage though. By which I mean, they don't.
Best Barber in Overland Park? I just relocated to the area and I am looking for barber recommendations. Anything is appreciated!

Honestly do some traveling and go down to chop tops in midtown. Really cool place and all the staff I've dealt with seem really good at their job. They also give you free beer while you wait!

I've been going to the following barber shop for 10+ years. True classic barbershop with straight-razor shaves as well. If you get a close or skintight fade, the first three barbers are the best and one of them is usually available on Friday - Saturday - Monday. The other two have no problems with non-skin fade cuts. No appointments, first come first served. Saturday and afternoon wait times can be an hour or two, so show up as early as you can if you don't want to wait. If you do have to wait, they'll hand you a playing card and an estimate if you want to hop out to do something else in the mean time. However, if you are out and your card comes up, they'll skip over you to next in line. You'll just be next when you show back up. Typically 15 to 18 minutes per cut. If you show up at around 1PM or later on Saturday, the queue may be long enough that they won't accept any new arrivals. The Great American Barber Shop 15330 W 119th St. Olathe, Kansas Barbers: John (Owner) - Guy (Owner's son) - Bruce - Dave - Buddy
