I have boarded my dogs at Ventura Luxury Boarding. It's not Luxury... They are kept in pens out in the open on dirt. I'm not saying it's bad, but my Rat Terrier cam home hoarse from all the barking. I now use Send Rover on Over. They are in an open area with other dogs, but super supervised at all times. I would use them or Pam Prince. JMHO.

Most Vets are closed today. The ones that are open usually don't do surgeries on Sunday. Look into low cost/Free spay and neuter clinics. Valley Vet does free spay&neuters for Oxnard residents. They're a mobile clinic and they will be in El Rio on 5/24. Call them at 805-584-3823 to schedule an appointment .

Mercy Crusade 805-278-4433 the vets is amazing. Marina pet hospital is good too but they charge a good penny. Eroika pet does good cleanings just got with the girl the guy is too ruff, and pushy.

If you're willing to travel a bit, Four Paws in Santa Paula is pretty cheap. It could be what you're feeding your dog as well. What brand do you feed your dog?

Small dogs can die of dehydration very quickly from diarhea. Your dog needs to be seen by a vet and not given anything recommended on social media, they have no idea what is wrong with your dog and it could be dangerous if you give them the wrong thing, dosage etc. Non stop diarhea is dangerous and telling you something is very wrong. I wouldnt wait for tomorrow and would take to Emergency Veterinary Care in Ventura, its in Ohanas office over by Market Street

PLEASE TAKE YOUR DOG TO THE VET. Seriously. Pepto Bismo is NOT to be given unless a vet says okay and even remotely recommends that. Both of my dogs went through bad BAD bouts of diarrhea, and same thing, went to the vet and was given anti-biotics. As with a soft/bland diet of chicken and white rice. Don't go by recommendations on the internet. See a vet. Mercy Crusade is cheap and inexpensive. It's not worth it to give something wrong to your dog and it's condition worsens and a larger vet bill happens. Just take them to the vet. It'll be cheaper and easier in the long run. Most likely the case is the dog flu. It is HIGHLY contagious between dogs. And right now, this dog flu is everywhere.

My dog had something similar and I let it go for 2 days. I thought he had a stomach bug that would pass. When I took him to the Vet, he needed to be taken to a 24 hr Pet Hospital, for kidney failure. We caught it just in time. The Vet said our dog would've died if we would've waited any longer. We had to get a Care Credit Card to pay for the Vet bills.
