Hello...I was looking to buy a cheap begginers flute, any suggestions?
Pam L. replied:
I agree, Dan Doc Shankle and David Dicks. Butch Hall Flutes is a great organization to do business with. I prefer A for a beginner as they tend to be just a bit smaller, making the fingering even easier. The Butch Hall Little Horse A has a sweet, clear sound.

Butch Hall flutes. No question. Spot on in tune every time. Reasonably priced. I'd recommend an A minor. They play well with C Major.

High Spirits Flutes has a Sale on right now. They have "Low end" beginning flutes.

Hello Jonathan. I recommend Butch Hall flutes. Excellent quality and good price point. https://www.butchhallflutes.com/
Dan S. replied:
When you contact Butch Hall...let them know you are NEW to flutes...they go out of their way! OUTSTANDING people! I agree with David Dicks, G is a great starting Key. Most of the schools and flute circles start people out on a "g" or and "F" ...not as BIG and easier to finger. Butch Hall makes a NICE sounding flute that is AFFORDABLE...from there you can go DEEPER into the Flute "COLLECTING" addiction. ENJOY...it will change your life...just from the people you will meet. Check out Clint Goss' Fluteopedia!!!
