As far as the weather I think it should be okay. I did my first ocean dive in December and I didn’t even wear a wetsuit. The water was very warm. And even if it happens to rain you’ll be in the water so it won’t make much difference. Visibility should be pretty good unless there happens to be a big storm that kicks things up or a bunch of newbie scuba divers who happen to stir things up. I went with a friend of a friend of a friend. He was great, we basically had the boat for the whole day and my girls were able to snorkel while I was scuba diving. If I can find his information I’ll share it with you, I’m not sure if he’s independent or doing excursions now for cruise ships.

I did this excursion a while back. Transportation is not included, you show up at the dive shop at a certain time. We were supposed to be on an excursion with like 30 people total. Only one other couple showed up. There was 4 of us and the crew. It was like doing a private excursion. The crew was very professional, but also very fun. The jokes were plentiful, and after snorkeling, the booze was also plentiful. [http://cozumelcruiseexcursions.net/snorkel\-in\-cozumel.html](http://cozumelcruiseexcursions.net/snorkel-in-cozumel.html)
