Try Gary Lawton, 435-640-5005. If he's available, he's the most prompt and efficient contractor we've worked with. Not sure if he is still carrying his license. Hint #2: Whether you are paying out of pocket (like we did recently), or the company tearing out the damage is sending the bill to your insurance company, ask for an itemized statement of what they are doing and observe everything you can. We had a little sewer backup and their list of what they did or planned to do was hugely padded. They did not do half of the items on it and they did not need to do all that was proposed. Plus they used a lot of scare tactics. If you need everything torn out because you want to remodel, fine. Still, be sure they did everything on the bill. After I went over the bill line by line with a manager, my bill was cut in half (& they fired the worker). If your insurance is being billed, you still need to know the invoice is not padded. The bigger the bill, the more your insurance company is likely to raise your rate.
