Although I would really like a gym with access to the equipment and a pool, I don't think I can afford any of the options on my previous post. Does anyone know of any...
Nancy L. replied:
Try Lexington Power Yoga in Lexington Center. They had a couple of shifts open a couple of weeks ago; I don't know if they've filled those positions yet.
Macee D. replied:
The Arlington Center has a "work study" program http://www.arlingtoncenter.org/workstudy.html
Kristin N. replied:
Baptiste Yoga in Porter Square has an "energy exchange" program. You can volunteer in exchange for free classes and there are lots of openings. I've been doing yoga for free there for years. I think the email address to inquire is volunteers at baptisteyoga.com.

Try Black Crowe Yoga
Laurel R. replied:
I have taken classes at Black Crow in the past but wouldn't give me a deal, I should ask if they would do a trade program.
Laura M. replied:
I think The Arlington Center on Mass Ave offers some work study - check their website.
Megan U. replied:
Prana Power Yoga in Winchester and Cambridge do this...they have a studio in Newton, too.
Megan U. replied:
Not sure. Their website is pranapoweryoga.com. I think they have the details and contacts there.

Dave M. replied:
Heber Children's Dentistry is terrific. Focuses exclusively on kids. Books, saddles and other things to keep the kids entertained if they have to wait a few minutes. Very nice friendly dentist who cares and tries to putt he kids at ease.
RanDee G. replied:
Dr. Brandon Bailey in Kimball Junction. He's incredibly nice and I've heard wonderful things about him and his staff. His entire office is built for children. He even has a kid-sized toilet.... who knew that was a thing!
Jamie C. replied:
Dr. Brandon Bailey is awesome.
Bob M. replied:
Dr Brandon Baily is a highly qualified pediatric dental specialist who just opened a full time practice in Kimball Jct across from Basin rec, and he lives in Park City! He is great with kids, and is who I take my kids to!! His office # is 435-649-4848

Ps. I found it was kind of hard to find baileys info originally. Www pcdentalkids.com is on the card they gave me.
Mindy D. replied:
Park City Children's Dental Specialist is new and is located right across from Basin Rec!:)
Becca M. replied:
Dr Brandon Bailey is by far the best pediatric dentist in Park City. My children previously went to Burg who was highly invasive with an intermediate level of bedside manner - at best. That says nothing about his staff which don't even rank in that department. Dr Brandon took a very nervous boy (previously 19 cavities with Burg) and a first time visit 3 year old and turned the checkup into a play date. They sang, talked video games...the whole time not a single moment stressed or sad. Also, down to 3 small cavities with a watch on them - lots of education on proper brushing etc. We will most certainly go back. Oh - and he fixed a major problem on a previous crown by Burg.

I love the classes at the shop. In kamas on monday and wednesday at 7:30 Megan Betty Morin has an amazing class at the aquatic center. Free if you have a membership or just $5
San R. replied:
As far as dentist, who do you see? Ask who they recommend. They may even take kids at yours. I heard kids can be seen by normal dentists don't need to be seen by pedi. I love the Dental Spa, I may just send our girl there, or see who they recommend. I used to go to Dr. Knight in Pinebrook, was happy with them and know they see kids (I transferred to dental spa because I like them even better, and dental insurance is easier with them).
I need a Yoga-for-Dummies class, one that's geared toward out-of-shape arthritic middle-aged women who cannot keep up with the pace of the ridiculously fit middle-aged...

I just learned about this website called www.doyogawithme.com I watched some videos to make up for some days I missed class and I loved it. There's sections for beginners, intermediate and expert. However, they have a lot of gentle yoga that is really good to start off with. And the beat part? It's free, unless you want certain videos to be a large screen or just have the pure audio to listen to. Then they do charge. However, I highly recommend checking it out :)

Does anyone know of nice Hotel/spa that lets you use their facilities for a fee? ie: pool, sauna. The Cliff Lodge spa lets you for 15.00/20.00 ( yoga, steam room, pool)....
ISO: best gentle yoga classes for the chronic pain person. ( and a nice inviting yogi).
Any suggestions!?

Basin Rec has two restorative yoga classes on a Sunday afternoon. The Yoga 101 (basics) on a Friday is with Melissa, and she's wonderful! I also recommend any of Janessa's classes. Loveliest person and very welcoming. Basin Rec has a 10 punch for $60 or drop-in for $9. Sue Fendler, Kristen Russell and Cindy Hallows (all teach at Park City Yoga Studio) are all amazing, lovely women too. PCYS has a great first time student deal too! So many choices, I say try them all
